Planning, timelines and who we work with
Planning your electrical
Good electrical plans start early. Tell us how you will use the space, where you want lighting, outlets and larger loads, and whether you plan to add an EV charger or other equipment later. We can help you plan circuits and panel capacity before construction.
Timelines and estimates
Timelines depend on the size and complexity of the project and on inspection scheduling. We give estimates and timelines when we assess your project.
Builders and homeowners
We can work with homeowners, builders and property managers.
Permits
Permits and inspections
New electrical installations need an electrical installation permit in BC. The contractor applies for the permit, and the licensed contractor's field safety representative declares compliance after each phase and at least once every 180 days while the permit is open. TSBC then decides whether an inspection is needed.
